Last Updated: 8 June 2026
Purpose
This statement describes how MedM’s B2C products support user access to, control over, and portability of user-generated data in accordance with the principles and objectives of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the "EU Data Act").
User Access to Data
Access to user data is available directly through the application interface without requiring a separate request to MedM. Stored user data may originate from compatible connected devices, manual entries, supported third-party health and wellness platform, or CSV imports. Users can review their recorded measurements and related information at any time through the MedM application. Users with a registered MedM account can also access their data through the MedM Health Cloud.
Data Portability and Export
MedM provides users with the ability to export their health and wellness data at any time and without delay.
Supported export formats include:
- Generic CSV
- Excel CSV
These machine-readable formats enable users to retain copies of their data and transfer information to third parties, healthcare professionals, caregivers, service providers, researchers, or other systems of their choosing.
MedM does not impose contractual restrictions on the lawful export, transfer, or reuse of user-generated data by the user.
User-Directed Data Sharing
Users may choose to share their data with third parties through export functionality and other sharing mechanisms available within the MedM platform. Such sharing is initiated and controlled by the user. MedM does not restrict the user's ability to share exported data with healthcare providers, family members, caregivers, wellness professionals, or other authorized recipients.
Transparency
Information regarding data collection, processing, storage, sharing, retention, and user rights is provided through MedM's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Users are informed about:
- what data is collected
- how the data is used
- available storage options
- data sharing functionality
