Using Blood Pressure, Glucose, and Health Tracking Apps Without an Account to Keep Your Data Private

Online discussions and publications reflect a growing interest in health apps that work without an account, without mandatory cloud storage, and without automatically feeding users' data into other ecosystems. Users have spoken, and MedM has listened: we bring connected health to people who prefer to keep their health data offline, while still providing access to essential functionality such as Bluetooth health monitor pairing and CSV data export.
This means that MedM users can connect 1000+ compatible Bluetooth health monitors to our health monitoring apps, automatically collect 30+ measurement types, store their health data in a private, locally saved health record, and export it as a CSV to share with a doctor or healthcare provider. All without registering an account, purchasing a Premium membership, or even having an internet connection!
What Does “Privacy-First” Mean for a Health App?
- No mandatory registration — creating an account is optional
- No mandatory cloud backup — cloud storage is optional
- Local data storage
- Ability to function without an internet connection
- Optional connections to third-party health ecosystems
- User-controlled data export and sharing
- Ability to delete all locally stored health data at any time
MedM meets all seven criteria. Please note that connections to third-party health ecosystems require a MedM Premium membership.
Using MedM Apps Without Registration to Monitor Blood Pressure, Glucose, Weight, Temperature, and 30+ Health Parameters
Creating a MedM account is optional. At the bottom of the login screen, users can select the “Continue Without Registration” link, which takes them to the Data Protection screen and then through a short setup wizard. When using MedM without registration, the apps store all health data ONLY on the user's phone or tablet, rather than backing it up to the encrypted MedM Health Cloud.
It is important to note that when using MedM without registration, our apps will not perform any data backups. Users are therefore advised to back up their phones or tablets regularly (making sure that the option to back up all app data is enabled). Users may also want to regularly export their health data as a CSV file to keep an additional copy of their health records.
Someone looking for a blood pressure app without registration can use the MedM Blood Pressure Diary.
For those looking for a blood glucose diary app without mandatory user accounts, MedM offers the Blood Sugar Diary for Diabetes.
For a smart scale app that supports body weight management and body composition monitoring without mandatory registration, there is the MedM Body Weight Tracking Diary.
Those looking for a smart body temperature or fever tracking app that works without registration can use MedM Body Temperature Tracking.
Finally, for users who want to track multiple parameters (over 30 supported), including blood pressure, blood glucose, body weight, and body temperature, without an account, there is the all-in-one health tracking app - MedM Health Diary.

Choosing Privacy Without Giving Up Connected Health
A privacy-first app doesn't necessarily have to be isolated. MedM can directly collect readings from over 1,000 compatible Bluetooth health monitors while allowing users to keep their health records exclusively on their phones or tablets, without registration, cloud storage, or even an internet connection.
Keeping data private doesn't mean giving up the ability to share it. Users can export selected measurement types as CSV files and choose exactly what health information to share, with whom, and when. Whether sending measurements to a healthcare provider for review or keeping a personal backup, users remain in control of their data.
For those who later decide they want cloud backup, Care Circles, PDF and XLSX reports, or additional third-party ecosystem integrations, registering a MedM account opens the door to these features, some of which require Premium membership. The choice remains with the user.
