Contour Next (Plus) Companion Mobile App for iOS and Android

The Next Plus blood glucose meter by Сontour is integrated with the Health Diary app by MedM. The blood sugar readings can be automatically captured from the Next (Plus) unit and saved to the user's smartphone or tablet and, optionally, backed up to MedM Health Cloud. Users maintain full control over their health data and can at any time export the collected measurements history as a file or altogether delete it.

All data in MedM Health Cloud is stored encrypted and cannot be accessed by unauthorised parties. MedM Premium members have the added ability to synchronise their logged health data with both Apple Health and Google Health Connect platforms, ensuring seamless integration with other wellness tools. Users can also grant secure access to their MedM health records to trusted individuals—such as relatives or caregivers—for collaborative monitoring. In addition, MedM Premium allows custom threshold settings for blood glucose values, enabling users to receive push or email notifications when readings fall outside the defined rangers.

How to Connect Contour Next (Plus) with MedM App

  1. Open the app -> from the Tab Bar select Devices -> tap the "+" button to start Bluetooth discovery
  2. Activate the pairing mode on Contour Next by pressing and holding the OK button until the unit is turned on, selecting the Settings symbol on the Home screen and pressing OK to enter Settings, then pressing the "up" button repeatedly until the Bluetooth symbol starts blinking
  3. Once the meter is discovered by the app - select Contour Next, configure device settings, and tap Add to My Devices
  4. When the popup with system pairing request appears - tap the Pair and Connect button
  5. Upon successful pairing a corresponding popup will appear
  6. The paired Contour Next will be listed on the Devices screen
  7. Make a measurement on the meter to collect new data in the app

Please note that the app has to be running in foreground or background (configurable in settings) to receive new readings from Contour Next.
