The Medisana BU 530 Connect Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor can connect with the MedM Health Diary app, allowing users to automatically record, organize, and manage their blood pressure readings with minimal effort. Measurements taken with the BU 530 meter are transmitted directly to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, and for registered users, can be safely stored and backed up in the encrypted and secure MedM Health Cloud.

All MedM users can set reminders for blood pressure measurements or medication intake, view data on a graph with or without aggregation, attach tags and notes to readings, export data as CSV. Premium members benefit from enhanced health management features, including customizable goals, thresholds, and notifications, PDF export, access sharing and remote health monitoring, as well as data sync with major health platforms such as Apple, Google, and Samsung.

How to Connect Medisana BU 530 with MedM App

  • Open the MedM Health app → from the Tab Bar, select Devices → tap the “+” button to start Bluetooth discovery
  • Enable pairing on the BU 530 meter: press and hold the START/STOP button until the Bluetooth symbol starts blinking on the screen
  • Once BU 530 monitor is discovered in the app → select it, review or configure device settings, and then tap Add to My Devices
  • Upon successful pairing, a confirmation popup will appear
  • The paired BU 530 model will now be listed on the Devices screen
  • Make a measurement on the BU 530 blood pressure monitor to collect new readings in the app

Notes: The app must be running in the foreground or background (configurable on settings) to receive new measurements.
