Omron HN-290T Scale Compatible App for iOS and Android
While MedM is not affiliated with, recommended or approved by Omron, the Omron HN-290T digital body weight scale connects with the MedM Health Diary app, allowing users to automatically track and manage their weight measurements. Readings taken with the HN-290T unit are transmitted via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet, helping users maintain an accurate log without manual data entry. For registered users, all data is also securely stored in the protected MedM Health Cloud.
With MedM, users can set reminders for regular weigh-ins, monitor changes over time using charts, and optionally add notes or tags to measurements for better context. The platform also supports exporting data in CSV format for personal tracking or sharing with healthcare providers.
MedM Premium enhances the experience with advanced features such as customizable goals, smart notifications, PDF reports, secure data sharing, and remote monitoring. How to Connect Omron HN-290T with MedM App
- Open the app menu -> select My Devices -> tap Add Device
- On weight scale: remove batteries and insert them back in to activate pairing mode, "P" symbol will appear on weight scale screen
- Once the HN-290T unit is discovered - select it, configure device settings, and tap Add to My Devices
- When the popup with system PIN pairing request appears enter the 6-digit PIN-code which is provided on on the back of the device
- Upon successful pairing a corresponding popup will appear in the app "OK" letters will appear on HN-290T screen
- The paired HN-290T scale will be listed on the My Devices screen
- Make a measurement on the HN-290T weight monitor to collect new data in the app
Please note that the app has to be running in foreground or background (configurable in settings) to receive new readings from the HN-290T.
