Welch Allyn BP Monitor 1700 Compatible App for iOS and Android
The Welch Allyn BP Monitor 1700 Series is an upper arm blood pressure monitor that provides fast and clinically oriented measurements with enhanced motion tolerance. Integrated with the MedM Health Diary app and the MedM Blood Pressure app, it supports Bluetooth-based synchronization, allowing users to automatically record and manage their blood pressure readings digitally.
With the 1700 Series, measurement data can be transferred directly to a connected mobile phone or tablet and, for registered MedM users, can also be securely stored within the MedM Health Cloud. This helps users and healthcare providers maintain a structured overview of blood pressure history without manual logging.
MedM users can analyze their readings using interactive charts, track changes over time, and enrich data entries with optional notes or tags. The system also supports export of health data in CSV format for further analysis or sharing.
Premium MedM features extend functionality with customizable health tracking settings, and enhanced data export capabilities, including PDF reports and secure data sharing for remote monitoring scenarios, as well as synchronisation with Apple, Google, Garmin, and Samsung ecosystems.

How to Connect Welch Allyn BP Monitor 1700 with MedM App
- Open the MedM Health app → navigate to the Devices section from the main Tab Bar → tap the “+” button to start Bluetooth scanning
- Enable the pairing mode on the Welch Allyn BP Monitor 1700 Series
- Once the 1700 Series device appears in the list of available Bluetooth devices in the app → select it, review device details, and tap Add to My Devices
- After successful pairing, a confirmation message will appear in the app, and the device will be added to the Devices list
- To start data synchronization, perform a blood pressure measurement on the meter
Notes: The app should remain active in foreground or background (depending on user settings) to receive incoming measurements.
