The Pursonic GCM18 Bluetooth Blood Glucose Monitor is a compact and user-friendly device designed to simplify diabetes management. By connecting to the MedM Health Diary app, the GCM18 allows users to automatically record and organize their glucose readings. Each completed test is transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth to a smartphone or tablet, and registered MedM users benefit from secure, encrypted backup in the MedM Health Cloud.
The MedM Health app provides a powerful set of tools for improving daily diabetes tracking. Users can set personalized reminders for glucose checks or medication, monitor trends with intuitive charts, attach notes or tags to each reading, and export data as CSV for reporting or consultations. Premium users access additional features such as custom notifications, goal tracking, PDF reports, remote data sharing, and connectivity with other major health platforms including Apple Health, Google Health Connect, and Samsung Health.

How to Connect Pursonic GCM18 with MedM App
- Open the MedM Health app → from the Tab Bar, select Devices → tap the “+” button to start Bluetooth discovery
- Enable pairing mode on the GCM18 meter by pressing and holding the power/test button until the Bluetooth icon appears on the screen
- When the Pursonic GCM18 BGM is found in the app → select it, review or configure device settings, then tap Add to My Devices
- A confirmation popup will appear once the pairing is successful
- The connected Pursonic GCM18 meter will now be listed on the Devices screen
- Perform a glucose measurement on the GCM18 to transfer new readings to the app
Notes: The app must be running in the foreground or background (configurable on settings) to receive new measurements.
